1. General
Bitbandy provides the ticketing technology used to sell and manage tickets. Refund outcomes typically depend on the organiser’s published refund rules for each event.
2. Organiser Responsibility
- Each organiser sets their refund terms (time window, partial refunds, or no-refund policies).
- Refund requests are assessed according to the event’s policy and applicable law.
3. Fees
When a ticket is purchased, the attendee pays for the ticket price plus a booking fee. From the ticket revenue, organizers receive 95% of the money, while Bitbandy retains 5% as a platform fee.
- Platform/processing fees may be non-refundable depending on the transaction and event setup.
- Any applicable fees are shown before you complete payment.
- In the event of a refund, the platform fee portion (5%) may be retained by Bitbandy as per our terms.
4. Cancellations, Postponements & Changes
If an event is cancelled, postponed, or materially changed, organisers are expected to communicate next steps (refund, reschedule, or alternatives) consistent with their policy.
